In this video, we discuss the benefits of intermittent fasting and how to do it for weight reduction. Intermittent fasting is a method to help you lose weight. It's not a diet, it won't tell you what to eat, and it won't make you lose weight. It's an eating and not-eating pattern. When you eat and when you don't eat is altering.
When it comes to weight loss, intermittent fasting is one of the most crucial aspects. It has an effect on two major hormones in the body:
1. It stimulates the production of growth hormone (anti-aging and fat burning)
2. Lowers insulin levels (you can't lose weight if insulin is present).
Insulin resistance can be treated with intermittent fasting. This is a condition in which your pancreas produces far more insulin than you require. This can be a very dangerous situation.
It's advisable to begin intermittent fasting slowly and gradually fast for longer periods of time. If you eat 5 or 6 meals per day, for example, you might want to start with 3 meals per day and eliminate snacks. After that, you might want to try a 16-hour fast followed by an 8-hour eating window. It's best to wait at least four hours after waking up before eating your first meal. The main power of intermittent fasting happens at night and in the morning while you're asleep.
