A DOUGHY PANCAKE? The BOCOCK BROTHERS World Traveler Habano Toro - CIGAR REVIEWS by CigarScore

From the minute I laid eyes on the Bocock Brothers World Traveler Habano Toro in May of 2021 when I did the unboxing, I was curious about this cigar. I mean, who puts a rooster on their cigar and calls it Bocock Brothers…

However, here we are, reviewing what looks to be a great cigar. The first thing I noticed about this Bocock Brothers World Traveler was the fragrance of the cigar. As soon as I removed it from the cellophane, I could smell something fantastic.

The cold draw had the perfect resistance and I could taste roasted honey and something that reminded me of pancakes. Through the first few minutes, the flavors were a little sour, a little sweet, and a little doughy like some sort of bread.

Through the middle of this cigar, I was very surprised. I never thought a Habano wrapper could be so mild, but this Honduran leaf took me by complete surprise. I tasted flavors like a cinnamon-topped pancake, complete with hints of vanilla.

Final Thoughts

After smoking the Bocock Brothers World Traveler Habano Toro, I can say that I enjoyed the cigar, but I felt like it should have smoked for longer. Normally, a toro should smoke for about 90 minutes, but this cigar was short by about 30%.

Also, on a related note, I think this cigar was slightly under-filled. While the draw was nice (due, possibly, to there being less tobacco inside), it was a little too loose.

Even though I wish this cigar had paired a little better with my morning coffee, as a standalone cigar, this one was a great experience. Therefore, the Bocock Brothers World Traveler Habano Toro earns a CigarScore 5.
