MILDER Than EXPECTED - BOCOCK BROTHERS World Traveler Connecticut Toro - CIGAR REVIEWS by CigarScore

Some cigars are meant to be smoked sitting down. Other cigars, like today's cigar, the Bocock Brothers World Traveler Connecticut Toro, just beg to be smoked while “traveling” around 😉 So that's what we're going to do!

After a quick cut from my Colibri Deep V-Cutter, the Bocock Brothers World Traveler Connecticut gave off hints of sweetness on the cold draw. Otherwise, the flavors were fairly mild with hints of citrus.

Once lit, the World Traveler Connecticut smoke had the aroma of dough or cake. Also, the first flavors were incredibly mild.

Through the first thirty minutes, the flavors were pretty good. However, I was unsure if I liked these flavors more than the ones of the World Traveler Habano. Since the Connecticut was the first blend the Bocock Brothers put together, it would make sense that the Habano was an improvement (a version 2.0 if you will).

Additionally, the draw, while not bad, could've been a little better, as could have the burn, which was at about 45 degrees.

However, through the middle of the cigar, the flavors were richer, sweeter, and spicier.

Final Thoughts

The Bocock Brothers World Traveler Connecticut Toro is an interesting cigar. While it did have the burn issues (twice), it did have some nice, rich flavors that grew in complexity over time. It also smoked longer than the World Traveler Habano I reviewed of the same vitola.

And, while the flavors were fairly mild through most of the cigar, there were times when I really enjoy the combination of spicy and sweet that came in occasional waves.

Because this cigar was good while having some issues, the mild Bocock Brothers World Traveler Connecticut Toro earns a CigarScore 4.
