A TOTAL FAILURE - The ALADINO Corojo Toro - CIGAR REVIEWS by CigarScore

My introduction to Aladino Cigars came back in 2019 when I visited Two Guys Smoke Shop in Salem, New Hampshire. I asked the sales guy for a recommendation, and he told me to try and Aladino. Fast forward to today, and we're going to review the Aladino Corojo Toro.

One thing that makes this cigar unique is that it's not made with tobaccos from a single country, but with tobaccos from a single farm in Honduras.

Visually the Aladino Corojo Toro is medium in color with a leathery wrapper and thin, well-pressed veins.

Once I'd cut the cigar with my guillotine, the draw was good and I tasted lots of cedar and a little bit of tangy-ness on the cold draw.

After lighting the cigar, the Aladino Corojo Toro had flavors of leather and spice, and that sourness was still coming through.

Through the middle of the cigar, I did not like it. While the draw was fantastic, the cigar tasted green and under-aged. There was no creaminess, and it was sort of harsh.

Final Thoughts

The Aladino Corojo Toro I smoked and reviewed today was terrible. The flavors were bad, the smoke time was bad, and the overall experience was bad.

Regarding the flavors, there was nothing that tasted like a brown paper bag, but they were sour and harsh and unenjoyable.

While I'm sure I smoked a lemon, I can't discount the myriad issues with this cigar, so the Aladino Corojo Toro earns a CigarScore 1.
