Barbara Loe Fisher is the co-founder and president of the non-profit National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), established in 1982 to prevent vaccine injuries and deaths through public education. Barbara helped secure safety provisions in the US 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act and has testified in Congress and State legislatures. Barbara has served on the:
- National Vaccine Advisory Committee;
- Institute of Medicine Vaccine Safety Forum; and,
- FDA Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee.

- Why Barbara started the NVIC.

- The story of how her son was vaccine-injured at the age of 2-and-a-half by his fourth DTP shot and the impact it has had on his life and her own.
