Not As Good As I Remembered - La Aroma de Cuba Pasion Marveloso Toro - CIGAR REVIEWS by CigarScore

When I look back at my personal cigar journey, La Aroma de Cuba cigars is right there at the beginning. However, over the past 15 years or so, I've not smoked a lot of their cigars. But today, I'm excited to smoke and review the La Aroma de Cuba Pasion Marveloso Toro, which was blended by the father-son duo, José ‘Pepin’ and Jaime Garcia.

Unsheathing the La Aroma de Cuba Pasion Marveloso, I saw a great-looking cigar. The Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper leaf is toothy and has some peach-fuzz texture to it.

On the cold draw, the flavors were very leafy. While torching the foot, the first aromas were quite delicious and enticing.

Getting into the first third, the flavors were just okay, but the draw and burn were both good.

Through the middle of the cigar, the flavors just weren't doing it for me. Also, there was a pretty significant burn issue, and I had to retorch the cigar to even it up.

Final Thoughts

After smoking for about 68 minutes, I didn't really care for the La Aroma de Cuba Pasion Marveloso Toro. Overall, the flavors were just okay, and the flavors in the final third were less so.

Additionally, there were two burn issues that had to be fixed.

This cigar was not worth $11, and it wasn't as good as I remembered from years ago. The La Aroma de Cuba Pasion Marveloso Toro earns a CigarScore 3.
