Appalachian Trail + Trail Magic + Hike to Hawk Rock Overlook + Near Duncannon PA

The day started out at the Walmart buying food and drinks to give out to Thru Hikers on the Appalachian Trail. We started out at the Rt 225 Trail crossing.

Then a quick visit and tour of Kind of Outdoorsy Outfitters and Hostel where we met the owner Betsy.

We revisited the Doyle Hotel and met the owner Vicky and some more Thru Hikers. We dropped off items to the Hiker Box.

We had an opportunity to hike the Appalachian Trail South to Hawk Rock Overlook and photographed the most youtube videoed Bear on the Appalachian Trail located on High Street coming out of Duncannon.

We end our day at Little Buffalo State Park.
