Mid Michigan fishing offers so many excellent fishing opportunities sometimes I just don't know what to fish for or where to fish. When Mid Michigan fishing in spring I like to take an all species fishing approach. Spring time fishing means anything is possible and I've been doing a lot of Michigan Fishing in 2021. It is summer now by time I released this Michigan fishing video but you can always count on me for a Michigan river fishing report a month or 2 too late lol. Anyway the all species fishing approach to me means using live bait and fishing lures that are somewhat universal like spinners soft plastics ect. Spinners in particular catch everything and I have caught crappie, perch, catfish, pike, bass and so much more fishing inline spinners.Show more

I am from Lansing Michigan so Mid Michigan fishing is a regular affair for me. I love to get up north or out west to fish some of Michigan's prime rivers and I like to go east to fish Lake St Clair and the saginaw bay and some lake Erie tributaries but My home is on the Grand River in Lansing Michigan and I take advantage of Mid Michigan fishing opportunities anywhere within an hour drive of Lansing on a regular basis. I spend a lot of time fishing The Grand River, The looking Glass River, The Red Cedar River and The Maple River as well as countless other tributaries of all of those rivers. I also take advantage of the multitude of Mid Michigan lakes and ponds and that is why Mid Michigan fishing is so great. Near endless opportunities for all species fishing in Mid Michigan. I love fishing Michigan rivers and I grew up on the looking glass river learning the ways of the smallmouth bass. As I got older I continued river fishing in Michigan on the grand river when my family moved to Grand Ledge Michigan. After learning the power of the grand river I was inspired to fish its many tributaries and I am still crossing many of those tributaries off my list to this day. This helps me create a variety of fishing videos without excessive travel.
