Ceasefire not a good option now, says Russian diplomat

A senior Russian diplomat said on Monday he did not think a ceasefire in Ukraine was "a good option" at this stage, because Kyiv was likely to use it as an opportunity to try to discredit Moscow, after Ukraine denied reaching an agreement with Russia over a humanitarian corridor in Mariupol.
