There is a popular internet phrase that describes a certain sentiment to police officers: ACAB. The acronym stands for "All Cops Are Bastards" or, alternatively, "All Cops Are Bounded." The phrase argues that cops, regardless of their individual dispositions, perpetuate a fundamentally unjust system that makes them complicit in racism, bigotry, homophobia, and other supposed causes of police brutality.
