The Great Siege of Malta

This documentary tells the epic story of the 1565 Great Siege of Malta when the island - at that point the home of the Knights of St-John, also known as the Hospitallers - came under attack. It was during this siege that a Muslim army from the Ottoman Empire that included a large contingent of Barbary pirates, attempted to capture the island but was repulsed by its heroic and determined garrison.
