Guy Reffitt Trial Recap

The beginning of the Jan 6th trials have wrapped up this month, with a fourth in the beginning stages of jury selection. All three defendants have been found guilty with the AP boasting about all 36 jurors being unanimous in their decisions. I plan on covering as many cases as possible in order to draw comparisons and highlight our court system and procedures. The first case on the docket is the case of Guy Reffitt. You may remember Guy as the defendant who had his son testify against him. In this video we will discuss the court's ruling, analyze the government's omnibus opposition to the defendant's post-trial motion and discuss why I think the video and witness testimony in the case was worth investigating for integrity. My opinion of the case has no bearing on the ruling, obviously, and is simply a reflection on how I would interpret the evidence in the case.

As always, any views or opinions expressed in this video are my own and not necessarily the popular opinions of others. All court materials, websites, articles and materials used in this video are used in accordance with the fair use act for educational or entertainment purposes only. Links provided below.
