The lower control board is the main circuit board on the refrigerator and controls the ignition of the propane and the power to the AC element. This item is compatible with the following models: DM2652; DM2662; DM2663; DM2852; DM2862; DM3862; NDM1062; NDR1062; RM2351; RM2354; RM2451; RM2454; RM2551; RM2554; RM2620; RM2652; RM2662; RM2820; RM2852; RM2862.

Several DIY online videos suggest that if your Frig is not working on AC and you have check the power supply, the glass fuses and heating element, than its likely that the lower control board is bad. So I went this route and purchase a new lower control board, but unfortunately it did not solve the problem. I was fortunate that Amazon allow this item to be returned for a refund. I was pretty much resigned to running the frig off LP gas until I learned that the upper control board could cause this issue. So I purchased a upper control board and it solved the problem. My frig now runs off of AC or gas, depending on if the AC is available. Therefore, if you are have a similar problem with your RV refrigerator, know that replacing the upper control board may solved your problem.
