Australian society is committing "cultural suicide" by denying the country's western heritage, according to ACU Senior Research Fellow Dr Kevin Donnelly.
Dr Donnelly said Australia is a secular society with Christian underpinnings.
"We are secular – but our political, our legal, our literature, our art, our music – (is) underpinned by Christianity," Dr Donnelly told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
"The problem we're having, as Douglas Murray argues, is we're committing cultural suicide by denying our heritage."
