EU congratulates India on climate ambitions

European Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen was in India on Sunday, (April 24) to discuss how the EU and India can join forces to combat climate change through clean innovative technologies. She congratulated the south Asian country on its ambitious target of achieving 50 percent of energy coming from renewables by 2030.
