2. Hod - Further Aspects of the Archetype (comedy, magick, therapy & the trickster)

Hod ("majesty, splendour, glory") is the eighth sephira of the Qabalistic Tree of Life.
Hod sits below Geburah and across from Netzach on the tree of life; Yesod is to the south-east of Hod. It has four paths, which lead to Gevurah, Tiphereth, Netzach, and Yesod.

In his tables of correspondences titled, "777", Aleister Crowley associates Hod to the Four Eights of occult tarot and the archetypal god forms of Anubis, Thoth, Hanuman, Loki, Hermes and Mercury.
