Raytheon Doubles Down on ESG and DEI

On April 25, 2022, the Free Enterprise Project (FEP) questioned Raytheon executives about revelations that the company has incorporate Critical Race Theory (CRT) into its employee trainings. The following question was submitted at the Raytheon shareholder meeting:

"Over the last year, it was made public that Raytheon has been subjecting its employees to Critical Race Theory. Training documents reveal that the company has been asking employees to 'identify [their] privilege' and pushes the notion that white, straight, Christian men top the 'oppression hierarchy' and must 'step aside for minorities.'

"How does subjecting employees to such Critical Race Theory training, which teaches that the U.S. is systemically racist and necessarily segregates employees based on race and sex, not run afoul of federal antidiscrimination laws?"

Raytheon combined FEP's question with others and doubled down on its commitment to these race-based policies. The exchange can be heard on this video.
