This Mustang had pretty decent paint, but it was far from where it should be. After giving it some serious attention, attacking it with a dual action polisher and some Sonax Perfect Finish, this thing turned out so nice!!

I will say too, the beginning of the video was a bit rushed, and thats just due to the amount of footage I had. With it being as hot as it was that day, I was limited on the amount of footage I could get. Granted, as the evening sat in, it got a little cooler, and thats why theres a fair bit more polishing footage. BUT I will still able to get a little bit of slo-mo Lol.

As I noted in the video, when polishing, there are some important points to be made prior to actually touching the paint with a polishing pad. I don't talk about it too too much, so I figured I'd let it be known here, or at least let what knowledge I have, be known. Make sure the paint is decontaminated. This means both Mechanical (Clay Bar) & Chemical (Iron Remover & sometimes even Tar Remover) Decontaminations. Once you've gone that far, make sure two things are certain. No water or probable dripping water & no direct sunlight. This is why I have a canopy set up, as well as I turn the car around throughout the polishing process. ONCE you've finished polishing, wipe down the car with some Surface Prep, Panel Wipe, Eraser, or any Isopropyl alcohol mixture for detailing. Then throw on your favorite protectant, and you're good to go.

ANYWAYS, a very basic, straight to the point, exterior detail with a simple 1-step polish at the end to bring it all together and spray it down with some Griot's 3 in 1 Ceramic Spray Wax.
