Honda Civic Clutch Pedal Start switch pad alternative replacement

For the Honda Civic, I'll explain an alternative replacement for the clutch pedal start switch pad. This is specifically for the 4th generation 1988-1991 Civic, but the solution will also applies to some other Hondas and Acuras. The rubber pad is replaced with a piece of garden hose. Slip the garden hose piece over the metal bracket. You can reach the bracket by following the clutch pedal up behind the dash.
