Evans from Arlington, TX. -  who is still missing is presumed to have drowned after witnesses say he jumped into the Rio Grande on Friday morning to save the lives of two individuals who were crossing the river into the United States. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law a bill that strips Walt Disney Co. from being able to govern the land where the Disney World theme park is located and a bill that effectively blocks Critical Race Theory from being pushed in classrooms. Randi Weingarten - President of the American Federation of Teachers union - spoke about conservative movements to put parents back in control of the classroom in a recent interview. A Democrat in Rhode Island has proposed a new bill that would tax residents who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 double on state income taxes.
