Sunday Longplay - Zelda 2 Randomizer - Zelda Saves Link, 2 Hearts Max Life

This week on Sunday Longplay, I'm getting back into the Zelda 2 Randomizer with another Max Rando seed! This time I'm doing a little role reversal by playing with Zelda's custom character sprite and saving Link at the end of it all!

This was another seed generated with the Max Rando setting, which threw a major curveball this time by only allowing me a maximum of two bars on my life meter! If you're going to do a challenge like this, make sure you buff your life stat as much as possible early on so you can survive more than one hit! Good thing there were plenty of blue Ironknuckles in the first palace to help me do that! This was a brutal challenge, but it's a step toward another challenge that someone suggested in a comment of one of my Zelda 2 ROM hack longplays! Maybe one day I'll take up that challenge and play another randomizer seed starting with only one bar of both life and magic!
