Zerks&Wheels, episode 41, unorthodox janky setups part I

Howdy YouTubers!
this two parter has some really janky setups that are definitely outside the operational envelope of the bridgeport.
we're rebuilding a pacing trim saw that chops extruded plastic rails to desired length. the pivot arm of the machine and running rod and bearings were completely worn out, to the point the pivot arm needed to be bushed and new rods made.
as mentioned in the opening monologue, the third part of this project was cancelled as i chose to go to a very unorthodox way of dealing with the egg shaped guide of pivot arm. since the rods isn't supposed to rotate anyway, i shortened the rod and made conical end caps that put tension on the rod and center it at the same time. the original plan was to drill out the mounts and make new bushings.
