This session is a showcase of a project where no less than 60 Million new data records per day had to be processed on a relational on-premise SQL Server database. After the explanation of the business case, I will guide you through the solution that is primarily focused on using partitions and some tips and tricks of how to manage them. The goal of this session is not to give you a deep dive into partitioning and indexing, but to give you input on scenarios that could help you in similar projects or with similar business cases
