Record of Ragnarok Banned In India- Here Is Why #anime

Record of Ragnarok was banned in India because of the portrayal of the primary god, Shiva. They say that they were afraid how people would portray the god in India.
What do you think? Surely some people were going to take this personal however, its just an anime it is the work of the manga artist. I don't think Record of Ragnarok disrespected hinduism in any way.
