Miles Davis - Kind Of Blues (Full Album)
Miles Davis left his name engraved as one of the jazz legends. Among the great works of his discography, “Kind of Blue” is probably the most iconic, with importance even in other musical styles.
Over the course of the simple 5 minutes of this album – most lasting more than 9 – Davis reinvents jazz in a way that no one had thought of then.
Released on August 17, 1959, the work is considered the precursor of the so-called modal jazz, which uses a musical structure even different from anything that existed then.
Miles' partners in this endeavor are the best in jazz at the time in terms of technique. Julian “Cannonball” Adderley (alto sax), John Coltrane (tenor sax), Bill Evans (piano), Paul Chambers (bass) and Jimmy Cobb (drums) collaborated with the artist and his trumpet.
