Sazerac Cocktail!

Welcome, everyone! I am Not a professional bartender! This channel is for sharing alcoholic drink recipes I find online or from other sources. I may also, from time to time, throw in a project or two that involves alcohol of some kind.

I will Not always use top-shelf or name-brand alcohols in these recipes, because not everyone can afford those. Enjoy & Never drink & drive!!!

Recipe…

2 oz rye whiskey
1/4 tsp of Pernod or other anise-flavored liqueur
1/2 tsp sugar
A few dashes of Peychaud's bitters (accept no substitutes)

Completely coat the inside of an ice-cold old-fashioned glass with the anise liqueur. Inside a cocktail shaker, add crushed ice, sugar, & bitters, and shake very well. then add your whiskey & give it a couple more shakes. Strain & pour into your glass. Add a long twisted lemon peel to your drink, if you want to.
