Here are some previous Hikes:

This video was a lot of fun and in such a beautiful place. Unfortunately (as I'm sure you noticed) much of the footage came out choppy. Most of it seemed to be camera issues whereas the last bit was due to Adobe Premiere Rush not liking to render the endings of my videos. I am saving up to upgrade my equipment and programs, so look forward to better quality in the future.

TIPS FOR HIKING AT PILOT MOUNTAIN STATE PARK:
1 bring more water than you think you need, I packed several bottles and Chloe brought 1.5 gallons (there's essentially a propane tank of water in her backpack lol) and she still got a migraine after this hike. North Carolina is VERY HOT in the summer and in total we hiked 8 miles on mostly strenuous trails.

2 Sunscreen it up, I am pretty pale but don't burn easily, on previous hikes (see my other hiking videos) I only ever burned on the back of my neck once without using sunscreen, including a day on the lake off camera after one of those hikes. UV index was high and we applied sunscreen three times during this hike, I still got burned.

3 If you are here for the beautiful views, take the tram, it's only $5 and saves you the 3.7 mile hike to the top (which you will then have to also hike down after enjoying the view). Chloe and I enjoyed that hike but it gets very strenuous deep into the trail so it would not be easy to turn back if you started having issues.
