Bloom Of Plum Blossom

Prunus mume is an East Asian and Southeast Asian tree species belonging to the Prunus subgenus Prunus' Armeniaca division. Chinese plum, Japanese plum, and Japanese apricot are some of its common names. Plum blossom is the common name for the flower, which has long been a popular topic in East Asian and Vietnamese traditional painting and poetry. Both plum and apricot trees are connected to this unique tree type. Although it is commonly called a plum in English, it is actually more closely related to the apricot. The fruit of the tree is used in juices, as a flavoring for alcohol, as a pickle, and in sauces in East Asian cuisine (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean) and Vietnamese cuisine. Traditional medicine makes use of it as well.
