Why Do You Need To Cut Horse Pastures Since Horses Eat Grass? I Explain Here

I get asked a lot why I cut my pastures. There are lots of reasons and I try and discuss and explain them in this vid.
1) keeps weeds down and grass grows better
2) knocks down poop piles and spreads out in pasture
3) Allows horses to see ground better
4) Prevents other critters from hiding in tall grass
5) Keeps bugs down
6) Grass grows faster than weeds so grass will fill in and block sunlight to weeds
7) the grass and weed clippings help fertilize the pasture
