Netflix LOST Subs But Plans Ad-Supported Lower Tier & Crackdown On Password Sharing | NFLX Stock

A lot of attention is being paid to Netflix and for good reason. Its stock has plummeted 36% after the streaming service entertainment provider came up well shy of subscriber forecasts for Q1 and issued an even more dire forecast for global streaming paid net adds to decline by 2.0 million in Q2. Netflix conceded that it "believes most of [its] slowing growth in 2021 was due to the COVID pull forward." Accordingly, there are many other stocks suffering material declines because of that admission, which has stirred concerns among their investors that they will share similarly disappointing growth numbers.
