The Adventure of the Unknown

The unknown is part of the appeal of life to us as men

Plans Are Important But Not Perfect
- Plans are important because they give us direction as men
- Men who don't make plans have no direction and aren't ready for the unknown when it hits
- Men with direction can steer through the unknown
- Our plans cannot be perfect because we don't know the future
- Understand that the point is to make a plan and be men who take responsibility for ourselves

The Unknown Is the Adventure
- There is something in us as men that longs for adventure
- We are looking for a sense of adventure because we have allowed ourselves to give it up in life
- Living in the unknown is about taking a new boldness with your life
- The journey is the process and the process is the journey
- We don't want to lose the thrill of the adventure as men

Growth Fuels the Adventure
- The one thing we can control is how we choose to grow
- We have lost our spirit of adventure and put all our energy in work because that is all we know
- Growth is something we have to focus on holistically
- We need to quit being consumers of life and be captains of our life
- As men, we can't be captured and cataloged
