Turtles Meet an Underwater Drone

In this video I take my PowerVision PowerRay underwater drone to a lake and a bunch of turtles come over to check it out. They were totally un-phased by it and even used it as a resting spot! This made for some awesome footage! The engines on the drone were off while the turtles were close to the sides and rear of the drone for the safety of the turtles. With the design and safety considerations that the PowerRay has, the turtles were not in danger in any way. Just out of respect for the turtles and to be as safe as possible, they were off. I have found that by letting the drone just sit, more wildlife will come up to it and reward you with some really amazing footage.
