The military investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the RF initiated a criminal case against the military personnel of the 56th separate motorized infantry brigade of the AFU under Part 1 of Art. 356 of the Criminal Code of the RF

Around 20:00 April 20 this year. Ukrainian military personnel fired from the Smerch multiple launch rocket system at residential buildings and public places in the city of Shakhtyorsk.

As a result of these illegal actions, 5 civilians received shrapnel wounds of varying severity, including a young child who died on the spot, as well as houses and outbuildings were destroyed.
