After a rainy end to the week, with quite a few of us picking up more than 1" of rain, we're heading to drier weather for the weekend. Skies will be partly sunny to partly cloudy Saturday, with a strong southerly wind bumping temperatures into the upper 70s by Saturday afternoon. Winds will be around 15 mph in the morning, increasing to 20 mph in the afternoon with gusts up to 30 mph. A lake breeze may develop north of Milwaukee, keeping temperatures in the low 50s for those in Ozaukee and Sheboygan counties close to the lake. A weak cold front will bring some showers and a few thunderstorms overnight. Showers will be scattered and rainfall will be light with totals less than 0.10". Showers will wrap up by mid morning, leaving partly sunny skies for the rest of the day. Temperatures will be mild and in the upper 60s, with even a few 70s. Cooler temperatures return next week, but our next best chance for rain won't be until Thursday.
