WELL.... let's just imagine the 'fail' jingle in a cartoon after trying to grow my Cattleya aclandiae in leca and self watering. In this video, I am changing the set up and hope that the season doesn't work against me and the #orchid can recover. I also discuss what I did wrong, but I am not going to experiment with leca and self watering on my aclandiae now, because, it is more important for her to get the best chance at survival than me insisting that leca and self watering can be done! Sophronitis cernua was removed from a mount and potted up early spring. Quick update on how she is doing.
