"Raven (scientific name: Corvus corax): is a large black passerine bird, commonly known as the fat-headed bird. It is the largest bird in the passerine order, with a total of 12 subspecies. The whole body is black , and flashing purple-blue metallic luster; especially the wings are the most prominent. The feathers on the throat and chest are long and lanceolate; the whiskers are long and developed, covering almost half of the upper mouth. The iris is dark brown; the mouth, Tarsus and toes black."
