In New Zealand, 2020-2022 saw an unprecedented amount of disinformation flow from the nation’s capital to the New Zealand people. This was accompanied by an all-of-society effort to ostracise and humiliate anyone who dared hold dissenting views. The pushback by free citizens culminated with the largest protest in New Zealand’s history, a 23 day Occupation of Wellington’s Parliament Grounds, where the nation’s Freedom Fighter Movement was formally born.
