Immediately after the Emergencies Act was voted in the House of Commons, the Conservatives filed with the speaker the motion to revoke the Emergencies Act where 20 Conservative MPs already signed the motion. This is what the Emergencies Act says for motion to revoke: signed by not less than ten members of the Senate or twenty members of the House of Commons, as the case may be, is filed with the Speaker thereof, that House of Parliament shall take up and consider the motion within three sitting days after it is filed.
