PSALM 1 (HNF Presentation)

Psalms are important for spiritual warfare. The importance of focusing on God by meditating on his Word is emphasized as we begin our course. He wants us to be blessed with His wisdom and protection, so He says to walk by His advice. Then, He warns us of evil men, bad company, to stay far from them. If you do go with them there's a downward progression you will find yourself in- First you walk by their advice, then you stand established on their path, then you are stuck sitting. God warns at the start that they are doomed and we should form no soul ties or friendship with them.We were made to delight in God and walk with Him, not the ways of the world.
