This is my quick documentation of my second foray into historic costuming. I am NOT an expert at history, costuming or historic fashion at all. My desire was to take historic fashion inspo and create something my style.
I'm sure even if I lived in the 18th century I would have been a bit rebellious and done things with my own twist in my own personal way. 😉
Pattern used was American Duchess 8411/Simplicity. Vintage fabric was found in an antique mall-the almost 8 yards needed for $15.
