God's Call To Judah For Repentance & Restoration Is. 61:1-6
• Is 61:1-2 Jesus quoted these words in Luk_4:18-19. As he read to the people in the synagogue, he stopped in the middle of Isa_61:2 after the words, "the time of the LORD's favor has come." Rolling up the scroll, he said, "The Scripture you've just heard has been fulfilled this very day!" (Luk_4:21). The next phrase in Isa_61:2, "and with it, the day of God's anger against their enemies," will come true when Jesus returns to earth again. We are now under God's favor; his wrath is yet to come.

• Is 61:3-4 With the coming of the Holy Spirit, mourners will be consoled, beauty will replace ashes, oil of joy will replace mourning, the garment of praise will become available instead of the spirit of heaviness (depression). All of these will add beauty to the people God to glorify God. Also, the Builder's anointing will be released to repair and build the old ruins, and raise up the former desolations. All these are available as of now!

• Is. 61:5-6 Strangers here are the gentile nations, who will become shepherds, plowmen and vinedressers, serving God's people. Under the old covenant, God ordained the priests of Israel to stand between him and his people. They brought God's word to the people and the people's needs and sins to God. Under the new covenant, all believers are priests of the Lord (1Pe_2:5), reading God's Word and seeking to understand it, confessing their sins directly to God, and ministering to others.

Father in the name of Jesus, I pray for the body of Christ - the church that we may live with purpose and vision, fulfiling destiny in grand style in Jesus' name Prov 29:18
18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Father in the name of Jesus, empower me in these three days marathon fasting and prayer on the prayer altar. May all my desires for this quarter and year be granted in Jesus' name!

14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Because I have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation;
There shall no evil befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling.
For God shall give his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.
They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.

Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set me on high, because I have known His name.
I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me.

With long life will God satisfy me, and shew me His salvation.
So shall it be for me and my household today and forever, Amen and Amen!
