Pruning Japanese Snowbell or Styrax japonicus 'Pink Chimes'

Although the flowers look delicate, this tree is a strong grower, easily reaching thirty feet. I found that I could keep the tree under 20 feet by heavy pruning. This limits the shade it produces and keeps more of the blossoms down low where they can be seen.
