DIABETES EDUCATION and COLON HEALTH Fair

A Diabetes Specialist and Certified Educator talks one on one with me about low and high blood sugar numbers, referred to as hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia respectively. She also discusses Type One and Type Two Diabetes in detail. Ms. Kelly Dawes helps me to understand why Type One diabetes is more dangerous than Type Two Diabetes -- although they are BOTH bad. She provides adequate information on both Type One and Type Two to help me understand Diabetes better.

All participants in the health fair receive a BAG FULL of leaflets, pamphlets, and other printed resources for quick and easy references. Participants may choose to have their blood pressure checked and have their blood sugar levels checked.
