Landing Zones (LZ’s) come in a lot of different shapes and sizes but every one I’ve flown has one thing in common… they’re all just a little bit different. That might sound simplistic, but it’s those little differences that, if I don't pay attention to them, can make the difference between having a good time and, well… not.

Today I’m on my way to check out a new LZ and wanted to bring you along and kind of let you into my head as I try to figure out whether or not this LZ’s going to work for me. The process really begins as I make my way there because right off the bat I’m going with the idea in mind that unless everything looks good, I’m not going to fly. This mind set helps to keeps me grounded and focused on what it’s going to take in order for me to send it. Either way I get to hang with my buds so I know that I'll have a great time.
