WWJD and The Antiques Road Show

My Daughter took our family to an antique store that specialized in items from the 50's, 60's, and 70's it was a very large store, theater you could rent etc.

Wish I had a dollar for every time someone said “I had one of those” stereo consoles, kitchen chairs, dishes, toys, games, etc.

One thing I noticed was all the fads that had come and gone?

I was reminded of a Christian Fad that came and went a few years ago, remember the bracelet with the letters WWJD, what would Jesus do?

That was a great ministry while it lasted because it got people to thinking and I'm sure it did a lot of good in this world.

It basically reminded both Christians and non-Christians alike to pause and think before you act, what is the best course of action?

1. Your reply during a conversation; Would Jesus say that? Is what your about to say true, will it hurt anyone, is it gossip, will it add to the conversation and is it necessary?
2. Your actions; Would Jesus do that, would He go in there?
3. Your driving; Would Jesus blow the horn, would He speed up to cut them off?
4. Your giving; Would Jesus ignore that persons need?

The Blind;

Luk 18:39  And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
Luk 18:40  And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,
Luk 18:41  Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
Luk 18:42  And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
