Otis Traction Elevators @ 1086 North Broadway - Yonkers, New York

Recorded on 10/7/21. This was a great place to check out in Yonkers. This building is the former Boyce Thompson Institute. This building is now a mix of shops and medical offices. This building actually composed of three addresses. This is the 1086 portion of this building. 1088 has new elevators to but WestMed occupies all of that space and they have a security desk. Those elevators were probably similar to these elevators anyway.

These elevators appeared to have only been installed a few years ago. It is nice to see these elevators retrofitted into this old building. These elevators are fast for three floors. Notice how the entrance is right smack in between of the two elevators and they are on the same controller. That is really interesting. This place is totally worth checking out if you are ever near Yonkers. Enjoy!
