Ben the “Baptist” admits he wants a “Christian” theocracy (contrary to John 18:36, John 6:15, etc.) The New IFB is ignorant of the fact that Baptists have historically been distinct from Protestantism and Catholicism all because of one stance… support for Church-State separation and liberty of conscience. Baptists have always been the first to stand up for the scriptural doctrines of Church-State separation and liberty of conscience. No good ever comes from any theocracy. Communist China and North Korea are what happens with atheist theocracies, and Europe in the Dark Ages are what happens with Roman Catholic theocracies.
