In this video, you are going to learn how to make crusty towels feel new again with a very simple trick.

Everyone loves coming home after a long, busy day, taking a shower, and drying off with a soft, clean towel.

Towels are household items that we can use frequently, so it's normal for them to absorb less and less over time, and acquire a certain odor. Then, just to make matters worse, we tend to wash them the wrong way, making them rough.

In today's video we are going to teach you an interesting trick to wash your towels and make them as soft and clean as if they were new.

This recipe calls for two easy to find ingredients: white vinegar and baking soda.

Baking soda is one of the best natural alternatives to clothes detergent, since it cleanses and deodorizes naturally. It's very useful at getting stubborn smells and stains out of clothes.

White vinegar, on the other hand, can be considered a natural detergent. It's a great cleaning product due to its high concentration of acetic acid. This acid degreases, disinfects, gives shine, eliminates odor and maintains softness. White vinegar is the best kind of vinegar to clean with since it's neutral, and has no artificial coloring or aroma like other vinegars.

Here's the recipe:

1 cup of white vinegar;
Half a cup of baking soda;

Instructions

Wash your towels in the washing machine with hot water and the vinegar.

Leave the towels in the machine, and fill it up again with hot water and this time add the baking soda.

Run the machine for one more cycle, and then, hang your towels out to dry.

If your washing machine doesn't have a hot water option, then you'll have to do it by hand.

Let your towels soak in hot water with the vinegar and baking soda for 30 minutes.

Once the time is up, scrub them, and let them soak for thirty more minutes.
