Every single hair type is beautiful, and those hair-styling magazines prove it.

Some hair types look better with certain cuts than others. The same thing happens with hairstyles.

The problem is when you want a specific look, but your hair type doesn’t go well with the cut.

Some people can be convinced of this sad truth and discover other ways to feel good about themselves.

However, others don’t give up on making a drastic change and end up running to the salon.

Unfortunately, many professional stylists offer chemicals that are highly harmful especially for those who want to straighten their hair. What ends up happening?

Your hair stays really straight but can lose strength and shine. These straightening chemicals can cause serious damage to your hair in the long-run.

So much so that to repair the damage, stores are selling a lot of conditioning products.

How about learning how to make some homemade straightening masks?

Yes, they do exist!

And, in addition to straightening, they leave the hair beautiful and healthy.

Let’s find out more:

1. Egg and olive oil mask

Beat 2 eggs and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

Shake well.

Apply the mixture to the hair and massage gently.

Then leave it on the hair for 1 hour or until the product dries.

Then rinse.

Apply the product twice a week.

2. Celery leaf

Chop a bunch of celery leaves.

Then, place these chopped leaves along with a little water in the blender to obtain a concentrated juice.

Strain the juice (we use a lightweight cotton cloth).

Transfer this juice to a spray bottle and let it rest for two days.

After two days, spray the juice into your hair.

Then comb with a wide-tooth comb to help spread the juice through the hair.

Massage for a few minutes.

Then cover your head with a shower cap.

Let it sit for 30 minutes.

Wash your hair with a mild shampoo and apply your usual conditioner.

3. Banana and milk mask

Mash two ripe bananas until you get a thick paste.

Add half a glass of milk and mix again until you have a creamy mixture.

Now apply the mixture to wet hair.

Then leave it on for 30 minutes and rinse.

Repeat the treatment 3 times a week.

4. Coconut and corn starch mask

In the blender, mix half of a fresh coconut with 1 tablespoon of oats and a half cup of milk.

Then strain the mixture.

Bring it to a boil and add 1 tablespoon of corn starch diluted in a little water.

When you have a creamy consistency, remove it from the stove and let stand.

Now simply apply it to your hair.

Cover your head with a shower cap and leave it for 25 minutes.

Then rinse.

5. Yogurt and egg mask

Beat 1 egg white until it becomes creamy.

Then add half a cup of yogurt and a quarter cup of mayonnaise.

Apply the mask on wet hair and cover with a shower cap for 30 minutes.

Then rinse with cold water.

6. Beer

Boil a can of beer in a frying pan over medium heat.

Then let it cool.

After that, mix the beer with a little shampoo and put it in the hair.

In order to work, all of these recipes need to be applied regularly, two to three times a week.
