Pakistani airstrikes on Afghanistan leave over 40 dead

At least 47 people were reported dead after Pakistani forces conducted airstrikes on bordering provinces in Afghanistan. They targeted the Taliban-associated TTP alliance, which they blame for regular attacks coming from Afghan territory. The strikes prompted the Taliban’s political spokesperson to warn Islamabad of serious consequences if the attacks continue.
